I'd like to point out that last game I was town, and mafia killed me first night....so ya know; if I live past the first night it'd be suspicious....

But, ebola, now that you said that you don't want mafia to kill you, they'll want to kill you.
Unless they already though of that, and they really won't kill you just to screw with your mind.
But maybe they thought of THAT too, and they'll kill you to act like they're not going to kill you to act like they're going to kill you.

Also not to draw on last game too much but down didn't have too many invest roles and killing one now would be so detrimental. Im all for a lynch tomorrow when the prs get at least one night.

So I have to admit I'm debating on my no lynch thought now that parama made some points about judging the bandwagon....as I didn't officially vote yet; if someone seems scummy I am open to voting them, but I don't want to vote just to vote.

Okay so sorry I'm late for the party but in my history I had Funkii's first mafia, so I kept going to that and getting confused as to why it wasn't this one. And I am certainly for a lynch day one, in my (albeit limited) experience with forum mafia, it is best to use your ml day one to obtain information. I'm not going to vote just yet until I have caught up with all the reading but no lynch is not a good move.

Remember, activity in the game is a vote against having yourself lynched

I'd also like to ask everyone what advantages they think we gain from an nl. If you are relying on reports, why did you even join this? We have no way of know what roles are in the game and if there even is an investigative role. And because of the no claiming rule, anyone could say I have a feeling such and such is innocent without it meaning anything. With a rl, you are able to see voting patterns (which are very important), view bandwagons, see if anybody buddies, and most importantly of all, see people defend themselves. It is very important to place pressure on people because it makes scumhunting easier when people are reacting/not reacting strongly.

Oops. My bad for not noticing game started. Anyway, yeah, we should NL. It's safest. We wouldn't want to kill a reporting role or, well, any town-sided role.

I think people need to stop playing this like EM. You can't rely on reports (who is to say that there are reporting roles) and using our ML with serve us better in the long run. Seeing who is voting who and how people react to that is very important at this stage of the game.
