The moon arose and the survivors began to take shelter in the boat from the coming rains. The storms were rolling in and this caused everyone to fall asleep soundly to the noise of rain. Everyone except for someone in particular.
The knew something was up and grabbed an umbrella from the cargo hold and made their way into the vast jungle on the island, the Mafia was definitely up to something. Even with the rain that was falling the Mafia were still looking for something in the jungle. The mud soaked trail that the Mafia had been using to look around the Jungle looked more like a river now with the amount of rain that was pouring.
"Maybe it is up there!" shouted one of them over a rumble of thunder.
The person spying on their actions was caught when they slipped on a small patch of watery brush beneath their feet. The Mafia turned to face their target and began running full speed towards the sound.
Quickly the person got up and began running as fast as they could to get back to the boat, they had a slight advantage over the Mafia.
"Get over here!" yelled the other Mafia member.
The person made it to the boat, but not without an injury. One of the Mafia members pulled out a silencer pistol from their pocket and let off a bunch of rounds in the direction of their assailant. One of them struck the person's leg, causing them to fall and hit their head on the stern of the boat.
Laughs came from the Mafia's direction as they assumed their assailant had died from the bullet wounds and they made their way back into the boat. Someone had been watching though, this mysterious person came out of the ship and aided their new victim.
"Everything will be alright!" were the comforting words that their victim heard as they fell asleep from the injury, aware that they would be saved in the night.
