Night time was falling on the survivors as they all sat in the small alcove in the jungle. A few of them had gathered up tinder and brush for a small fire in the center of the alcove to warm them all up. Ricky, Adam, and Austin all sat around the fire while everyone one else either slept or just relaxed away from the fire.
"So Adam, how come you never got to do your show on the ship?" asked Austin.
"Well I was suppose to do it like a few hours when the voyage began, but let's just say I wasn't conscious for the time I was suppose to be performing."
"What do you mean by conscious?" questioned Ricky who was playing with a few twigs, then throwing them into the fire.
Adam got a big smile on his face and reclined back on the log he was sitting on, " Working on this ship means you get free reign over the liquor. I got a little happy with the bottle and didn't wake up till later that night."
The conversation then went quiet for a little bit as everyone's glances were glued to the little flames flickering around off the fire like sparks from a sparkler.
"So I remember hearing from some of the other people that you were talking about predicting that this ship was going to crash or something!" exclaimed Austin.
"It is true. In my drunken stupor I remember having a very vivid dream of us crashing, though it wasn't on an island it was in Las Vegas."
"You had a dream of us crashing a ship in Las Vegas?!?" replied Ricky with a confused look on his face.
"Yeah, I'm not psychic, just a lush!" laughed Adam who hid some kind of sadness behind his words.
Austin joined into the laughter, though his was obviously fake, "Well can you show us some of your magic tricks?"
The glances moved from the fire to Adam, though he appeared disappointed ," I wish I could, but I left all my props back on the ship. I specialize in escaping arts... you know like shit Houdini used to do!"
Ricky excused himself from the conversation to go do something while Austin turned to face Adam,"That sounds interesting! Where did you learn to do that?"
"I used to go to the fights with my Dad all the time when I was younger. The grappling used to always fascinate me how they could escape from the worst of predicaments. So for Christmas my mom got me a magic kit for no reason what so ever and I been stuck doin it every since! I always wanted to be a fighter, but I guess that interest just transitioned over to magic," exclaimed Adam before the two of them continued to talk back and forth till sleepiness took them over.[/b]
