"Was this your card?" questioned Adam as he pulled the trick card from his sleeve so that no one saw.
Of course it was Cameron's card, that is how the trick worked. Everyone clapped with little applause at the meager trick Adam just performed, they would have been better entertained if they just watched the waves crash against the side of the boat.
This was the Emerald Cruise Line, a slowly failing cruise line business created by Demetri Cornelius, the captain of the ship. The business was in such a desperate need for cash that they actually had to downsize the boat to that of just a medium sized yacht. The Emerald, the name of the ship, had gone through a lot over the years of abuse from Demetri and his crew and this would be her last voyage into the unknown.
Everyone on board had their own motives behind the trip to China, well that is just outside of China because Demetri couldn't gather the right paperwork for them to actually dock at their port. The trip was going to be two days long with sights that hopefully they all would remember, little did they know they would get more then their fair share of sights.
The sun had slid it's way past the watery horizon and everyone retired to bed, the captain set the ship to auto steer as it continued to make its course towards the China bay. Little to everyone's knowledge though, a mysterious person snuck in and redirected the ship's coordinates to a place that seemed out in the middle of the ocean.
"CAPTAIN! CAPTAIN!" yelled Patricia who knocked wildly on the captain's door.
"What is it? Can't you tell I am trying to sleep!" complained Demetri who wasn't much of a morning person, but had to if he was going to be the one taking command of this voyage.
"Yeah I know you are sleeping, but you might want to take a look outside!" remarked Patricia as she stomped up the stairs of the ship and onto the deck.
Everyone was outside, some had even jumped down onto the shore of the mysterious beach that seemed to be in the middle of no where.
Austin looked around with a confused look on his face,"Where are we?"
"I'm not sure? I thought the Capt'n put the ship on auto pilot? In fact someone cut the fuel lines last night!" questioned Brandon, the handyman on board.
"I did, someone must have messed with the controls at night! As for the fuel lines who would do such a thing!" exclaimed Demetri.
The 14 of them were now stranded on the island with no help within miles and miles of the mysterious location. Why the Mafia would bring them there, and who did this was up to the town to figure out?
